"Closed Aviary" System (new birds are disease
tested and quarantined before being added to the
"bird room", no visitors are allowed into the
bird room to prevent the breeding pairs from being
disturbed);
- Babies are removed
from the nest at 8-10 days of age to be handfed;
- Babies are weaned
onto soft foods, Roudybush pellets, fresh veggies and seeds;
- Babies are banded
with closed traceable ALBS bands (lovebirds) & IPS
bands (parrotlets);
